Taco Bell is doubling down on lunchtime chicken with its new Cantina
Chicken Menu. Taco Bell Rewards Members have early access beginning today, and the entire menu will be available nationwide beginning March 21.
The new daytime menu features five items: the
Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, the Cantina Chicken Burrito, the Chicken Quesadilla and Cantina Chicken Bowl.
The chain used more produce and premium ingredients
for the items, including shredded purple cabbage, white corn tortilla shells made daily and fresh pico de gallo, in addition to slow-roasted chicken with Mexican spices. Each order comes
with a packet of the chain’s new Avocado Verde Salsa.
"As we constantly listen to our audiences, we know that a winning equation is giving them what we know they want plus something next
level,” said Liz Matthews, global chief food innovation officer for Taco Bell, in the release. "We knew our fans wanted more chicken, and we also knew that we could elevate chicken with
unexpected ingredients like purple cabbage and Avocado Verde Salsa."

With the new menu “Taco Bell is projected to use more than 2.5 million additional pounds of produce in 2024,”
per the release.
From Mar. 21 to April 4, existing Rewards Members will receive one free Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco that will be added to their accounts. New members joining beginning Mar. 21
will have the option to choose a Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco as their free welcome reward, among other offers.
