Creators To Get Their Own Three-Day Forum At Cannes Lions Festival

Cannes Lions is creating a new three-day forum at the festival in Cannes this June dedicated to creators and the creator economy.

Called Lions Creators, it will take place June 18-20 and will include a mix of learning and networking sessions for creators and those working in the wider creator economy, including marketing, influencer and talent agencies among others.

The new Creator Pass includes full Festival access from Tuesday to Friday as well as a full day of creator-focused content on the Terrace stage, networking opportunities and other benefits.

For the first year of the event Cannes Lions is teaming with social and experiential marketing firm Viral Nation to sponsor the event.

The organization cited a recent Goldman Sachs estimate that the creator economy was a $250 billion industry in 2023 and could reach $480 billion by 2027.

“By collaborating with Cannes Lions, we are not only amplifying the voices of creators but also solidifying influencer marketing's position as a cornerstone of social-first transformation, globally,” says Joe Gagliese, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Viral Nation.
