Capriotti's Sandwich Shop today announced the appointment
of Kim Lewis as the chain’s CMO. This is a new position for the 40-year-old chain, which is currently expanding nationwide, planning on “over 750 new locations by 2032,” per the
company’s release.
Lewis joins the sandwich chain after spending over six years at Sonic Drive-In, where she held positions in digital strategy, integrated marketing
communications and brand experience. She previously spent more than 15 years in marketing in the retail industry.
Capriotti’s, which currently has 175 locations across the United States,
stated that it “has invested significant resources this past year into reimagining how consumers interact with the brand… Such a sharp shift from the franchise's typical business offering
necessitated a leader capable of spearheading a new era of brand building and reputation management.”

"Kim will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and franchisee profitability,
strengthening brand awareness, and enhancing our digital channel campaigns and initiatives," said Capriotti's CEO Ashley Morris in a release. "Aggressive leadership and vision are often the key to
success. (Kim) wants to further Capriotti's market share and give customers a reason to keep coming back."
Founded in 1976, Capriotti's is known for its nightly tradition of slow-roasting
whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-shredding them each morning to appear in a variety of subs. The subs include The Bobbie, the shop's best-seller, which is made with turkey, cranberry
sauce, stuffing, and mayo on a roll.
