Cybersecurity software firm Webroot, a unit of OpenText, is out with a new
campaign created by ad agency Madwell.
Spots highlight threats like hackers tapping into bank accounts, malware and viruses.
Madwell took a humorous approach that combines
virtual and real environments to create the ads.

“This campaign seeks to redefine online protection by
emphasizing humor and intrigue over fearmongering and a litany of features,” said Chris Sojka, co-founder and CCO, Madwell, who also directed the campaign. “Shot entirely on
XR [extended reality] screens, the campaign blurs the line between digital and reality, echoing the challenge of discerning truth online.”
