Reddit Names Sprinklr As First Ads API Partner

Reddit, the now-public social news platform, is continuing to expand its business by partnering with Sprinkler, the customer experience management platform. As Reddit’s first advertising API partner, Sprinklr will aim to help create more effective campaigns on the social app.

Reddit is joining an extensive list of major brands that utilize Sprinklr’s platform, including PepsiCo, Uber, Puma and Honda. By providing them direct access to Reddit’s full roster of ad solutions, these brands and thousands more will be able to follow brand-relevant conversations, optimize brand content for maximum reach and engagement on Reddit, and tailor ads for more effective ROI.

According to a recent statement, Sprinklr says the integration should help brands “better understand how their audiences think, feel, and the actions they take” on Reddit.

By integrating Sprinklr’s Data API as well as the Ads API, brands will see relevant Reddit posts and comments in Sprinklr’s interactive customer dashboard, highlighting real-time trends that could provide them with a better chance at making use of the insights and promotions unique to the social app.

For Reddit, this partnership could help it attract more ad dollars from companies looking to drive performance and expand their outreach across the social media landscape.

“It’s getting harder for businesses to drive growth – there are fewer new places to reach, understand, and meaningfully engage with audiences online,” says Reddit’s VP of business development Jonathan Flesher, adding that the company hopes Sprinklr customers can “spot trends” and “test ideas” among Reddit’s daily user discussions.
