Refine Your Design: Brands Are Offered New Integrated Tools

Email marketers with limited design skills are being offered a new capability.  

Benchmark Email, a provider of sales and marketing software that can help brands create emails without the need for coding or graphic design expertise, has formed an integration with the Canva visual communication platform. 

The arrangement brings together Benchmark’s capabilities and Canva’s AI-powered design platform and email template library. 

The goal is to simplify email marketing for “users of all skill levels,” says Jonathan Herrick, CEO of Benchmark Email.

Canva’s platform helps marketers create appealing emails with no design training. Users can design emails and images with Canva and send them from Benchmark’s  email platform in a few clicks, Benchmark says.  



Canva also helps marketers design presentations, videos, prints and websites, according to its site. 

This integration makes it seamless to use Canva designs to craft more engaging email content that helps people achieve their goals,” said Warren Chen, head of ecosystem partnerships at Canva. 

 Benchmark offers a tool called Smart Design AI that it claims can help users create professional emails featuring their logo, images, colors and messaging. They can build emails on the site.  

“We have no doubt the integration will help email marketers create more engaging, impressive emails that land in the inbox,” Herrick adds.
