Dotdotdash Hires Nguyen As Chief Client Officer To Navigate Tech, Culture

Mai Nguyen has been appointed Chief Client Officer for Dotdotdash across the agency's offices in the U.S. Part of the TBWA\Worldwide Collective, Dotdotdash powers Next, TBWA's global innovation practice, which help brands navigate new spaces.

The company reports Next is on a double-digit growth trajectory for 2024.

Nguyen reports to Kyle Bañuelos, Dotdotdash co-founder-CEO.

The company says she will acts as a "translator" between emerging technology and culture and how such changes can aid clients' business challenges. The move follows the addition of Sony Honda Mobility and AutoNation to its roster.

Most recently, Nguyen was managing director, growth for Work & Co, prior to its acquisition by Accenture. She also served as eR/GA.

Kyle Bañuelos said she will make a "pivotal contribution in driving our future direction."

Nguyen added: "I gravitate toward maker culture. But at Dotdotdash, it's more than just making — it's creating experiences that other agencies haven't thought of or simply don't have the chops for. I'm excited to be a part of helping lead brands into new spaces — even if it's uncomfortable and especially if it's unconventional."

Current TBWA's global clients including McDonald's, Adidas and Henkel via Next.
