
Shoppers are in for something significantly tastier than a bargain
next time they hit their local Walmart..
Today Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ announced the launch of its Crave Express model, which will exist within Walmart locations.
Crave Express will
serve the brand’s signature hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, sliders, bowls and desserts to Walmart shoppers all day. The Walmart locations, several of which are already in development, will also offer
delivery from services such as Grubhub and DoorDash.
"This new venture allows us to offer quick and delicious dining, and we're excited to see the positive impact it will have on the
community," said Samantha Rincione, CEO and co-founder of Crave, in a release.
The hot dog and BBQ purveyor has seen considerable growth in the last year, expanding to multiple states
nationwide including Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina and New Jersey, as well as adding food trucks in such states as South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. The planned new Walmart
Crave Express units are estimated to push the brand’s brick and mortar locations to more than 150 nationwide within the next year.

The brand’s app also integrates the new Express
locations, enabling customers to order ahead before they arrive at Walmart. The app will also give access to “secret menu items and exclusive deals,” per the brand. New app users will
receive 10% off their first purchase.
Several of the brand’s stand-alone locations in Texas, North Carolina and Iowa offer ax -throwing lanes for rent by the hour. With the popularity of
throwing extremely sharp objects with your friends while drinking only growing, and expected to generate $300 million in sales across the U.S. in 2024 according to one estimate,, the brand has
additional locations with ax lanes scheduled to open soon in states including, Illinois, Florida and South Carolina.
