Jamie Heller, a 20-year veteran of The Wall Street Journal, is joining Business Insider as editor in chief. 

Heller has led the Journal’s global business and technology coverage.

“It has been wonderful getting to know Jamie over the past few months,” writes CEO Barbara Peng, “She is sharp and passionate and believes deeply that journalism is a team sport.”

Heller is a fan of Business Insider. “I subscribed several years ago because I had to – it is that good.,” she says. “Now, I am beyond excited to lead this tremendous publication to new heights.”

She adds: “Every day I've worked at The Wall Street Journal has been an honor. I am in awe of the journalism it does, and am forever grateful to all of my colleagues over the years and around the world.”
