Here’s something I never thought I’d hear former Vice President Dick Cheney say: “I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.”
He issued a statement last Friday, explaining why: “In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump.” This from a man that many also considered a threat to democracy when he was VP under George W. Bush.

Cheney’s statement came a few days after his daughter Liz Cheney issued her own endorsement of Harris.
And the Lincoln Project jumped on the news quickly, putting out a new ad that notes that now two former republican VP’s have publicly stated they won’t endorse Trump, the current Republican nominee. Trump’s former number two Mike Pence stated he wouldn’t endorse his former boss back in March.
When was the last time that happened? Never, according to the LP.
