'The Washington Post' Is Featured In Tony's Chocolonely Offering

The Washington Post has formed a partnership with Tony’s Chocolonely in which two of Tony’s most popular flavors will be wrapped in designs featuring Post branding.

The candy bars can be purchased in bundles from the Tony’s Chocolonely website.

The Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Bar is packaged in a “Food for Thought” wrapping, and says “Share a bar. Start a conversation.” The extra crunchy Milk Everything Bar says, “Conversations Start Here.”

The bars are included in a limited edition gift box that sells for $14.98. The designs are by the Post's creative team. There is no tie with Post subscriptions.

“Our two-bar pack brings a taste of Tony’s mission to end exploitation in cocoa, born from the investigative spirit of a journalist, and The Post’s commitment to uncovering stories that connect, inform and enlighten,” Tony’s writes. “A bar for you, one for a friend and a delicious reason to dive into the day’s headlines or talk about a hot topic.”

Tony’s refers news and chocolate fans to “The 7, a daily newsletter and podcast from The Washington Post covering the day’s seven most important stories.”

The launch follows last year’s collaboration with Compass Coffee called Post Roast. This limited run provided a custom-designed tin of coffee sold locally in the DMV.
