Little Caesars Continues Helping Veterans

Little Caesars has two ways it is honoring those who have served our country in the military.

For one, it brought back its Veteran’s Day meal program for the 18th year.

On Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the chain will offer a free Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage at participating locations across the country. The offer is good for both veterans and active-duty military members, with no coupon necessary. They just need to show proof of service like a military ID, DD-214 form, or veteran designation on their ID card.

"This year holds special significance for us and our veteran community, as we are opening a new Little Caesars restaurant at Pearl Harbor, where our founder, Mike Ilitch, was stationed in the U.S. Marine Corps from December 1950 to August 1951,” said Little Caesars President and CEO, David Scrivano in a release.  “Mr. Ilitch's military experience at this iconic base laid a solid foundation for his future business success.”

Also, there’s The Little Caesars Veteran’s Program, created in 2006 and inspired by Ilitch's own military service. The chain offers assistance and incentives to vets to help them start their own Little Caesars’ franchises, such as discounts on fees, equipment and supplies, as well as help with financing and marketing. The program now boasts a network of over 260 veteran franchisees, per the brand.
