Xero's Marketing Push 'Supercharged' Small Business

Global small business platform Xero has debuted a new tagline: "Your business supercharged."

The tagline is part of a new marketing campaign, launching in early February across digital media and OOH in select markets. Ads roll out across Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., the U.S., South Africa, Canada and Singapore.

The finance platform has 4.2 million subscribers. Xero’s smart tools help small businesses manage core accounting functions, from taxes to payroll.

Xero partnered with brand consultancy Interbrand to leverage the network's global positioning across London, New York and Sydney. The brand campaign was developed by the Hub, Xero's internal creative agency. The ads were directed by Gustav Sundstrom of Hooves production house.

Your business supercharged is more than a tagline — it’s a promise to our customers and a reflection of Xero’s evolution as a brand,” said James Kyd, executive general manager of brand and marketing at Xero. “Through extensive engagement with small businesses and their advisors, we’ve created a message that resonates deeply with their aspirations,” told Agency Daily.

Sam Ashken, senior strategy director at Interbrand, added: “Small business owners crave control, and they want to feel that they have the specific support they need for their business. Accountants and bookkeepers want to help their clients grow. These insights are true around the world, for current and potential Xero customers alike.”

Interbrand's client work includes Bugatti, LATAM Airlines, Rafa Nadal and Moody's.
