Twitch -- the live-streaming platform primarily focused on gaming -- has partnered with a number of top video games to offer exclusive rewards in a promotion that kicked off Jan. 20 and runs through Jan. 31.
In “Twitch Drops Fests 2025," the term “drops” refers to virtual items or rewards earned for subscribing to or gifting subscriptions to a given game channel, or tuning in for “timed drops” during a designated timeframe. First rewards included a “Golden Hour” emblem for “Destiny 2,” and a series of time-based drops for “Elder Scrolls Online,” “Hitman 3,” and “Marvel Rivals.”
"Twitch Drops Fest 2025 is our way of celebrating the incredible gaming moments that bring our community together," Craig Knapp, Twitch's senior vice president, business development, said in a statement. "Whether you're crafting the ultimate superhero team with 'Marvel Rivals' or saving the world in 'Final Fantasy VII Rebirth,' there's something special waiting for everyone.”

Other games featured in Twitch’s rewards festival include a “Kupo Charm & Survival Set” for Square’s “Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth,” beginning Jan. 23, as well as perks for fans of Riot Games’ "League of Legends," Battlestate Gamea' "Escape From Tarkov," and Blizzard Entertainment's "Overwatch" and "World of Warcraft."
Twitch has been promoting the event through posts on its social media pages, including a Facebook post highlighting a time-sensitive reward for viewing content related to Digital Extremes’ action RPG game "Warframe," matched by a post on the game’s own page also directing viewers to the promotion.
