Miami-based Alma agency has upped Angela Rodriguez to managing
director.
Rodriguez has a 16-year history with Alma. Most recently, she was vice president, head of strategy, handling clients such as Pepsi, Coors Light and McDonalds, in addition to
leading new business pitches.
Prior to that, she was director of research at Batanga.
In her new post, she will oversee brand, strategy, communication and growth teams.
The
appointment follows Jorge Murillo’s elevation to co-chief creative officer two months ago.
“Angela has been an integral part of Alma’s success, not just as a strategic
leader, but as a visionary thinker who understands the evolving needs of today’s marketplace,” said Isaac Mizrahi, CEO, Alma and COO, DDB North America.
Jorge Becerra will assume
Rodriguez’s previous role. He brings over 15 years of strategic experience, previously working for DDB Columbia and Sancho BBDO.
Alma, known as the ungeneral agency, has produced
creative campaigns for Molson Coors, Opendoor, CVS Health and Google. Its parent company is DDB, owned by Omnicom.
