Just an Online Minute... Faith on Yahoo!

Considering all the problems the recording industry has had with the Internet in the past, it’s nice to know things are changing for the better.

Yahoo! on Friday announced a broad fourth quarter campaign in support of Grammy, CMA, ACM, AMA-award winner Faith Hill. The campaign consists of comprehensive online/offline promotions in support of Faith Hill's fifth studio album Cry, to be released on October 15, 2002. Fans will get access to audio and video content on LAUNCH, Your Yahoo! Music Experience throughout the month.

Other campaign highlights include extensive exposure throughout the Yahoo! network and LAUNCH, in-store retail tie-ins with Target and a Yahoo! Shopping online pre-order campaign, as well as billboards in San Francisco, New York and Tokyo. Faith Hill exclusive content will also be promoted in all emails sent out by Yahoo! Mail users.

Only at http://faith.yahoo.com, LAUNCH will make Faith's music video catalogue available, along with her new video "Cry" and an exclusive in-studio performance of "When The Lights Go Down." Also available are a hand-selected photo gallery and a Faith Hill programmed Internet radio station.

"Faith Hill is an extraordinary talent, who should be commended for her commitment to her fans," said David Goldberg, vice president and general manager of Music for Yahoo! "Throughout this process she has been very clear and very involved in her desire to share quality audio, visual and written content that would be of interest to both her current and future fans. We are so excited to be able to harness the massive Yahoo! audience and to work with an artist who has the same commitment to her fans as we have to our users around the world."
