RTD vodka and seltzer brand Lake Hour has added four non-sparkling brews to its offerings: RTD canned vodka iced teas.

The brand was founded in 2023 by friends Marvel actor Wyatt Russell and film producer (“The Legend of Ochi,”) Rich Peete “to capture the essence of lakeside living and nostalgia.” As to why Lake Hour added the new non-sparking RTD tea, Russell says, “Because it tastes f-ing delicious.”

"The vodka iced teas came about because Rich’s nieces, who are in college, asked for a non-carbonated, easy-sipping option. That sparked the idea to create a lineup of vodka teas that are crisp and perfect for summer. It’s really all about capturing those no-plans, laid-back summer days,” Russell tells Marketing Daily.

The new teas are available in four varieties: Raspberry Tea, Blackberry Tea, Green Tea and Earl Grey Tea. Each has 3.4 grams of sugar and 113 calories per can.

Lake Hour is promoting the teas via social media and with a brand video seen here. The video splices vintage stock vacation and pop culture footage with shots of the brand’s retro-looking can, while extolling the RTD’s attributes, such as real juice and pure cane sugar. A line of new merchandise for the teas is also in production, according to Peele.

The brand offers Honeysuckle Ginger, Peach Jasmine and Rosemary Yuzu vodka seltzers, in addition to a Watermelon Cucumber seltzer made with tequila. Founded in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Lake Hour is available across eight Eastern and Western states as well as online on the brand’s site.
