GroupM Norway Takes Young Lions Media Gold

The GroupM Norway team of programmatic specialists Angelika Marcinkeviciute (now at Smood Social) and Maja Skaug Wirum won gold in the media category of the 2025 Young Lions awards in Cannes, France.

The team won for their "Hidden In Plain Sight" execution for this year's awards competition brief for the U.K.'s Ovarian Cancer Action research charity, which asked competitors to develop a "globally scalable media idea that brings ovarian cancer to the mainstream."

Initiative U.S. team Dana Nathanson and Morgan McAlister took silver for their "Below The Belt" submission.

Cossette Media Canada team Samuel David-Durocher and Tristan Bonnot-Parent took bronze for their "To Be Cracked" effort.
