As summer temps rise, Wendy’s is heating up its menu with a spicy new partnership.
The burger chain has teamed up with Takis, the corn-based rolled tortilla chip snack known for its fiery heat to launch the Takis Fuego Meal, available now in the U.S. and on June 30 in Canada.
The meal contains the new Takis Fuego Chicken Sandwich, which takes Wendy’s Spicy Chicken filet and tops it with crushed Takis Fuego chips along with Chili Lime sauce, corn spread and a cheddar cheese sauce. It also contains the new Fuego Fries, inspired by Takis, which adds a chili lime seasoning to Wendy’s Hot & Crispy Fries and serves them in a “custom-made tear away bag to allow easier access.” Both items are also available a la carte. Customers can also add a bag of Takis Fuego chips to their Takis Fuego Meal while supplies last.
