Media Works Names New President, Elevates Staffers

Indie Baltimore agency Media Works has reported new business of $105 million in the past 18 months. The accounts have resulted in a staff promotions and agency expansion.

President Michele Selby will move into a strategic consultant role at year's end and Melissa Davis, now vice president, people-organizational development, will become the new agency president.

Amy Ward, a 25-year agency vet, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer/executive vice president.

Four additional senior leaders have been elevated to senior vice president roles: Beth Cyphers, SVP of marketing and growth; Colleen Winterling, SVP of digital technology and data; Halley Firestone, SVP of research and innovation; and Monica Lazarus, SVP of operations and planning.

The women-owned agency also brought in The Trade Desk, a top programmatic media buying platform, to give it greater control in digital advertising.
