Cedric Devitt has been appointed the first chief
creative officer, North American for Cheil. He will handle creative work for Samsung in the U.S. and Canada.
He reports to Euisun Chung, group CEO/president of Chiel North and South America.
Previously, Devitt was CCO and partner at SPCSHP, working with Starbucks, Chase Freedom and Pepsi's FastTwitch. Prior to that, he served as CCO at MRY, helped launch LBi in the U.S. and held senior roles at TribalDDB and Grey Worldwide.

Cheil operates within a network of agencies, including McKinney, Iris and Barbarian.

Chiel, which spans 46 countries, has also done client work for Hyundai and Roblox.
