Sacramento-area Round Table Pizza customers can now enjoy their
pizza with a side of burger and fries.
Parent company Fat Brands has opened its first co-branded Fatburger and Round Table Pizza in the Northern California town of Rancho Cordova. The new
location marks the company’s first co-branded restaurant in California, which now adds Fatburger’s “custom-built burgers, fries and hand-scooped milkshakes,” to the Round Table
Pizza menu.
“This opening represents the first-ever Fatburger addition to an existing Round Table Pizza location – a strategic growth initiative we plan to continue expanding,
particularly throughout California,” says Jake Berchtold, COO of FAT Brands’ fast-casual division, in a release.
The restaurant held a grand opening Aug. 9, awarding the first 100
customers a free Original Fatburger among other giveaways throughout the day.

The new California location is just the latest in Fat Brands’ previously announced plans to open 40
co-branded restaurants in California. The parent company already has several such locations in Texas and Utah.
Both the Round Table Pizza and Fatburger chains got their start in
California.
Fatburger was founded in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles more than 70 years, with over 100 units in the U.S. Round Table started in Menlo Park in 1959 and now boasts over
400 units nationwide.
