Joe Raser has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer at Chicago-based
independent agency Schafer Condon Carter (SCC).
The promotion rounds out the new executive leadership team assembled by Ben Behrman who was promoted to president in 2023 and CEO in January
2024 as part of the agency’s management succession plan.

In addition to Raser that team includes Chief Creative Officer Craig Miller, who joined from Omnicom agency TMA a little over a
year ago and Chief Client Officer Amy Cesta, who returned to the agency in 2023.
In his new role, Raser will oversee strategic planning across the agency’s client roster. The agency
positions itself as having a “challenger brand mindset” that promises to “Create.Impact.”
Raser joined the agency in 2018 and was most recently executive director-
strategy. He succeeds Suzanne Martineau in the CSO role. She left in 2022 after 20+ years at the agency.
The shop has recently launched new campaigns for oral care brand GUM and
outdoor lifestyle brand SOLO. It also recently won new business assignments from Ortega, American Egg Board, Toad&Co and the Almond Board of California.
