
Adults are finally getting their share of the pie --
the pizza pie, that is.
Pizza Hut’s new Crafted Flatzz rolled out this week, touted by the brand as its largest global launch in its history.
The Crafted Flatzz are “an
elevated personal pizza experience… with grown-up recipes … (and) abundant toppings on a lighter, hand-stretched crust” and are available in more than 20 countries worldwide.
International examples currently available include Pesto Veggie with Balsamic Drizzle in the U.K., Korean BBQ in Taiwan, and Tandoori Chicken in India.
The flatbread offering launched in the
U.S. market this week along with a new “Adultzz Only” campaign highlighting the menu item’s adult appeal. In the :15 national broadcast and online spot, seen here, hungry kids come running into a kitchen, interrupting a mom who is enjoying some alone time with a Crafted Flatzz. She declines to give the
children any of her “Adultzz Only” meal, with the ad closing on a shot of her grabbing a sneaky kid’s hand before they get to her dinner.

The current U.S. available varieties
include: Nashville Hot Chicken, with Nashville Hot seasoning, onions, mozzarella and a pickle-flavored ranch sauce; Chicken Bacon Ranch, with chicken, applewood bacon, ranch sauce and mozzarella with
parmesan oregano seasoning; and The Ultimate, with pepperoni, italian sausage, caramelized onions, roasted peppers and tomatoes on marinara and mozzarella.
In the U.S., Crafted Flatzz are
available all day with $5 pricing until 5 p.m. only, with prices varying after 5 p.m. depending on location.
The new flatbreads follow the success of the brand’s recent $2 Tuesday
Personal Pan Pizza offer, which will conclude at the end of August, per USA Today.
