
Some meddling kids (and their goofy canine sidekick)
are arriving at Burger King this Halloween.
Beginning Sept. 16, customers who purchase a King Jr. Meal can get one of six collectibles inspired by Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang, each
depicting a character from the series with an accompanying Halloween mask.
The collectibles include: Scooby-Doo with a mummy mask; Shaggy with a skeleton mask; Velma with a witch mask; Daphne
with a cat mask; Fred with a Frankenstein mask and Headless Horseman with a ghost mask.
The burger chain is also bringing back its BK Halloween Buckets, which were originally available in
2023. Beginning Oct. 10, the buckets will be available for $2 at participating U.S. locations.
All Halloween promotional items are available at Burger King while supplies last.
In
2024, Burger King partnered with Amazon MGM Studio Consumer Products on Halloween-related promotions for the film and TV show the “Adams Family.” The chain offered a "Whopper Wednesday, "
a burger with a unique purple potato bun, and gave away collectible toys based on the property, such as a clicking Gomez and a wind-up Cousin It.

Also retuning this year are the
McDonald’s Boo Buckets, available in October which, although immensely popular, have also been on hiatus since 2022.
Burger King has been in turnaround mode with a multi-year
“Reclaim the Flame” effort, reporting that Q2 2025 global same-store sales increased 1.3% year-over-year, with a 1.5% increase in the U.S.
Burger King parent company Restaurant
Brands reported Q2 2025 consolidated system-wide sales grew 5.3% year-over-year, including 9.8% international. Comparable sales accelerated to 2.4%, including 4.1% at Burger King International and
3.6% at Tim Hortons Canada.
