Voodoo Ranger is bringing the beer to consumers in its latest
promo for tailgate season.
The brand is touring the Southwest U.S. to get consumers to sample its Juice Force IPA. But this isn’t just any can of beer; it’s a 21-foot tanker truck
outfitted with an oversized can of the Voodoo Ranger IPA.
The tanker will visit major football games, festivals and concert venues. On the tanker’s side is a live “beer
gauge,” which tracks the IPA’s levels in real time until empty.
"Juice Force is a rocket ship within our portfolio right now, and the Tanker is the perfect way to give it the
attention it deserves," says Michelle Robertson, senior brand manager at Voodoo Ranger, in the announcement. "The Juice Force Tanker Tour turns crushing beers with friends into a larger-than-life
experience."
The can has a QR code on its side that customers can scan for a chance at $5 off a future Voodoo Ranger IPA.

The tanker will be in Los Angeles until Sept. 21; Fort Range,
Colorado from Sept. 24 to Sept. 30; Dallas/Fort Worth from Oct. 3 to Oct. 6; Austin from Oct. 9 to Oct. 12; and Phoenix from Oct. 15 to Oct. 18.
The brand is promoting the tanker via its
Instagram @voodooranger and on emptythetanker.com.
Voodoo Ranger launched in 2017 with three original brews but has since expanded to include more than 20 beers, including Voodoo Ranger
Imperial IPA and Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA, in addition to Juice Force IPA, Tropic Force IPA and Hardcharged Tea. Voodoo is owned by New Belgium Brewing, which is a subsidiary of the Australian
beverage group Lion, an arm of the Japanese conglomerate Kirin Holdings.
