Dunkin’s latest collab with sleep and wellness technology
provider Hatch gives its fans a jump on waking up for National Coffee Day on Sept. 29.
The coffee giant partnered with Hatch on a first-of-its-kind “coffee alarm and sunrise
experience,” which is available exclusively on the company’s subscription service, Hatch+.
Named the “Brew and Renew” alarm, it allows subscribers to wake to the sounds
of “beans tumbling, espresso steaming and the satisfying pour of a fresh cup,” which is set to a background of ambient music. Hatch users can also select the “Dunkin’
Dawn” sunrise experience, which enables the device to emit Dunkin’s warm pink-and-orange hues in order to wake them up.
The chain is also celebrating National Coffee Day by
giving Dunkin’ Rewards members a free medium hot or iced coffee, with no purchase necessary.

Dunkin' released its latest ad from Artists Equity Advertising, the studio co-founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The spot for the chain’s new meal deal, seen here, features “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck, playing off the myth that she is related to Ben Affleck.
Now designated the “Value Affleck,” she crosses paths with Ben while ordering at a Dunkin’ register, playfully teasing; “You know what’s not value? Ben. Why overpay
for something nobody wants? He’s so dated, I’m younger, hotter. Can you believe Ben’s only 53? And it’s not like a young 53, it’s like a weathered 53.”
“Rude!” screams Ben, who has overheard her criticisms.
The spot is currently running nationally for the new $6 meal deal, which includes a medium hot or iced coffee, a Bacon Egg
& Cheese sandwich and hash browns.
