Wahlburgers’ famous founder is
promoting his latest starring role with a “dirty” new menu.
The burger chain rolled out its limited-time menu in honor of Mark Wahlberg’s new action-thriller heist flick,
“Play Dirty,” which began streaming on Prime Video Oct. 1.
The LTO Play Dirty menu includes the Stackhouse Smashburger, with two beef patties blended with brisket and short rib,
topped with white cheddar, government cheese, onion rings, fried pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and Cowboy Sauce (spicy garlic-herb butter), on a brioche bun. There is also a chicken breast option.
Dirty sodas include the Wicked Vanilla Cola, comprised of Coca-Cola layered with vanilla syrup and a float of half & half (spiked with Tito's Vodka at select locations), and the Wicked Root Beer,
with caramel syrup and half & half, as well as an Espresso Martini in select locations.

To promote the menu, the chain teamed up with Twitch on Sept. 28 for a live-streamed tailgate before
a New England Patriots game, where Mark Wahlberg and Twitch streamer Will Neff themselves crafted a LTO Play Dirty Burger. The event included burger sampling, and created content that was shared
across Wahlburgers' social channels.
Mark Wahlberg himself also launched the new film and Wahlburger menu at an event earlier this month, where various social media stars raced through Boston
in a virtual car chase, ending with Wahlberg and food influencer Jolly at a Wahlburgers’ tasting.
Wahlburgers now has approximately 32 locations across the U.S., Canada, Australia and
New Zealand, down from the chain’s peak of 109 locations in 2023. The chain, founded by Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie and Chef Paul in 2011 in Hingham, MA, closed approximately 80 Hy-Vee
grocery store kiosk locations earlier this year.
