Boathouse Selects Mead As Managing Director To Navigate AI Landscape

Megan Mead, former Hill Holiday senior vice president/accounts director, has joined Boathouse as managing director.

She reports to CEO John Connors.

Connors told Agency Daily that Mead "brings deep experience leading clients through complex brand and business challenges, with a mix of creativity, process discipline and relationship-building that fits perfectly with Boathouse’s culture. Her approach helps us deliver both big ideas and operational excellence as we evolve. She’ll play a key role in helping Boathouse scale with purpose as we enter our next chapter."

Boathouse is navigating a changing ad landscape. Connors added Mead was chosen to bring a "balance of structure and imagination to help us harness technology, while staying grounded in what makes great agencies great — trust, partnership, and results."

Mead has had several stints at Hill Holiday over an eight-year period. In between, she spent four years at Hatch as a vice president/account director. Earlier in her career, she worked at DDB and Calvary.

What's her vision for her team?

"Over the years, I’ve watched the agency world change, models evolve, client budgets grow and shrink. Now we’re in the AI era, which is pushing all of us to learn and adapt. Boathouse does things a little differently, and I like that," Mead told AD. "With so many headwinds to navigate, I want to be a steady, trusted partner for our clients and team, helping us find opportunities in the challenges and create work that truly moves the needle."

Boathouse's client work has included Apple, Marriott, Netflix and Naked Wines.
