Forget the gravy
boat. Firehouse Subs’ new holiday promo one-ups customers’ traditional Thanksgiving tableware with a more on-brand vessel.
This week the chain launched the Firehouse Subs Gravy
Extinguisher, a bright red mini-dispenser that sprays out gravy rather than any actual extinguisher agent. Firehouse will donate 100% of proceeds from the sale of the extinguisher to the Firehouse
Subs Public Safety Foundation, the chain’s nonprofit arm.
The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has given over $100 million in lifesaving equipment and needed resources to first
responders and public safety organizations across North America.
"Thanksgiving emergencies happen,” said Mike Vizza, director of communications at Firehouse Subs, in a press
release. "Whether your turkey's overcooked, underwhelming or on the edge of disaster, the Firehouse Subs Gravy Extinguisher delivers… every purchase helps equip the real heroes – first
responders – with vital lifesaving tools."

The extinguisher is priced at $20, in honor of Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation’s 20th anniversary, and is available
online at FirehouseGravyRescue.com while supplies last.
The chain recently brought back its popular Thanksgiving Turkey Sub for a limited time through the holiday season. The sandwich includes
carved turkey breast with stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo, served hot on a toasted sub roll. Also available for a limited time are new sides including gravy, Extra Cheesy Mac & Cheese and
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Founded in Jacksonville, Florida in 1994 by firefighter brothers, Firehouse Subs operates approximately 1,400 locations worldwide and is a subsidiary
of Restaurant Brands International.
Firehouse Subs reported a 2.6% increase in comparable-store sales and 7.7% growth in net restaurant count for Q3 2025, which subsequently led to a 10.7%
increase in systemwide sales YOY to $332 million.
