Axel Springer, the German media group, is acquiring Britain’s Telegraph Media Group, owner of the Daily Telegraph newspaper, for $766 million, Associated Press reports. Axel
Springer will invest in the group “to enable it to become the leading center-right media outlet in the English-speaking world,” the company said in its Friday
announcement.
