Movable Ink, the email technology firm that has
evolved into a provider of AI-powered personalization, has named Adam Stambleck, now president, as CEO.
Stambleck replaces founder Vivek Sharma, who is stepping down as CEO to become
executive chairman. Sharma will remain on the company's board.
Founded in 2010, Movable Ink helps brands deliver personalized marketing experiences based on real-time data and artificial
intelligence. Last year, it was acquired by STG, a private equity firm specializing in software and software-enabled tech services companies.
The leadership change comes as Movable Ink
enters its next stage of growth with STG, the company states.
Stambleck joined Movable Ink in 2013, when the company had fewer than 15 employees. It now has 500.
"Movable Ink is in an
incredibly strong position having been really early in the AI space, with an exceptional team, trusted client relationships, and an ambitious roadmap ahead," Stambleck says in a statement.

Sharma will continue helping the company shape its long-term product vision and will support strategic initiatives, including investment in AI-driven marketing technology.
Last June,
Movable Ink introduced autonomous marketing capabilities based in part on agentic campaigns, a move it said will lead to exponential lift in engagement and revenue while removing manual
work. It also introduced Da Vinci, a technology for delivering individualized content.
That year, the company snared $55 million in Series D funding, bringing its total
financing at that time to $97 million. It also announced that it had reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue.
Among the firm’s 500 clients are brands
like Audible, United Airlines, Hibbett, Intuit TurboTax, Lenovo, Ulta Beauty and the NFL.
"Starting Movable Ink 15 years ago with nothing more than curiosity
and conviction has been the journey of a lifetime," Sharma comments.
He adds, "Adam has been instrumental in shaping our strategy, our product and scaling the company over the past decade. He
deeply understands our customers, our technology, and our culture, and I'm confident he's the right leader to guide Movable Ink into its next chapter.”
