Alaska Airlines is dealing with a PR nightmare

Brenda Song, who currently has a supporting role on the Netflix Series
“Running Point” and has nearly 3 million followers, accused the airline of separating her and her young children on a flight, sparking discussion of the airline’s family-seating
guarantee, according to USA Today.
Song also tagged her fiancé, actor Macaulay Culkin, who shared the Instagram Stories post with his 3 million Instagram followers, quipping, “Hell hath no fury like a

Song and Culkin share sons Dakota and Carson.
“I didn't know when you book your first class tickets 6 months in advanced
for your family of six for your son's birthday - @alaskaair can just give away your seats the morning of with no warning-splitting up you and your 3 and 4 year old kids," Song wrote on her
Instagram Stories account March 21. "We will never fly @alaskaair again and neither should you.”
Song claims their seats were “given away” as the family planned to
celebrate Dakota’s birthday, according to Page

A representative for Alaska Airlines told
both Peopleand TMZ in a statement that Song and her family’s experience was "unacceptable and not
reflective of the care” they strive to provide.
Alaska Airlines added that it has "reached out to the family to make it right," noting that "we appreciate that guests
have a choice in the airline they select and we take our responsibility to deliver a safe, reliable, and caring experience every single time."
