Motion In Out-Of-Home Ads Drives Recall, Brand Awareness: Study

Digital out-of-home advertising generates 33% greater ad recall and a 50% hike in brand awareness when motion is included, according to research by Vistar Media, Marketing.ie reports. . High-quality digital screens and locations do the heavy lifting, but motion builds top-of-mind awareness, delivering a 10% uplift over a control group, and is shown to be 67% more effective than ads where no form of motion was used.
