
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase latest campaign —
“Hidden in Plain Sight” — focuses on product marketing, as well as a way to opt-out of the existing financial system.
The message: Instead of settling for financial
conventions, consider alternative choices.
The four ads are directed by Steve Rogers and developed in-house by Coinbase Creative Studio. They illustrate how Coinbase products give
you “a way of their system,” including “Patterns” and “Trading Hours.”
“By introducing our new suite of products — from stock trading to prediction markets — we
are moving viewers from awareness to action, providing a tangible way out of the institution-first model and into a future built for individual financial freedom,” said Joe Staples, vice
president, creative at Coinbase.
The media work, which runs through the third quarter, will be featured in NBA and WNBA programs.
