Charles H. Townsend, who was chief executive of Condé Nast during a period in which the company and other media firms were rocked by
falling ad revenues and the shift from print to digital, has died at age 82, The New York Times reports. Townsend, who started his 12-year tenure in 2004, oversaw the closures
