Los Angeles-based Dave’s Hot Chicken has kicked off a
partnership with Marvel Animation’s “X-Men ’97” for a limited time meal deal in honor of the show’s second season premiere on Disney+.
The new Dave’s Hot
Chicken x X-Men ’97 Meal includes the option of either a Slider & Fries or Bites & Fries as well as one blind bag collectible figurine featuring one of four X-Men characters: Wolverine,
Cyclops, Storm or Jean Grey. The meal sells for $13.99 and is available while supplies last.
“Dave’s has always been built by people who are genuinely passionate about the
things they love, whether that’s food, music, sports or pop culture,” said Arman Oganesyan, co-founder and chief brand officer of Dave’s Hot Chicken, in a release. “X-Men was a
huge part of my childhood, especially Wolverine, and what makes 'X-Men ’97' so special is that it stayed true to what fans loved about the original. That’s something we relate to at
Dave’s; celebrating something our team genuinely loves and creating an experience fans will be excited to be part of.”

The partnership extends to the Dave’s Hot Chicken app,
where customers can also unlock limited-edition “X-Men ’97” pins and exclusive comic content.
The meal is available through Aug. 12. The successful spin off of the X-Men
comic book and film franchise garnered over four million views in just five days when the series launched in March 2024.
The Marvel partnership is just the latest collaboration for the
400-unit chicken chain, which recently reported plans to add an additional 150 stores this year. The brand has previously partnered with Amazon Prime for the second season of
“Fallout,” and with Capcom on the 2025 release of the “Monster Hunter Wilds” video game.
