Wingstop this week rolls out its first sour, then sweet,
candy collab just in time for Halloween.
The chicken wing chain has teamed up with candy brand Sour Patch Kids to launch its latest limited-time wing flavor: Sour Patch Kids Wicked Punch. The
candy-meets-wings crossover features a new Sour Then Sweet Redberry glaze, which is then topped with an actual Sour Patch Kids Bitz.
“Wingstop is always looking for ways to bring our
guests something they have not experienced before, and this partnership was an opportunity to do just that,” Michael Skipworth, president and CEO of Wingstop told Marketing Daily in an
email. “Our collaboration with Sour Patch Kids brings a bold Halloween twist to our menu. Our culinary team created a combination that is surprising, distinctive and unmistakably
Wingstop.”

Club Wingstop members get early access to the Sour Patch Kids Wicked Punch wings on Oct. 23. The item expands to menus nationwide on Oct. 27 and is available to order
online or via the Wingstop app through Nov. 5.
“For Sour Patch Kids, Halloween usually means owning the candy bowl,” said Lauryn McDonough, senior director, candy, at Mondelez
International. “This year, [we] decided candy wasn’t enough. … transforming our signature ‘sour then sweet’ flavors into a wing flavor is exactly the kind of unexpected
mischief our fans love. It brings both brands together in a way that is surprising, playful and delicious.”
Wingstop reported Q2 2026 total revenue of $185.6 million, which is up 6.4%
YOY with a net income of $31.3 million. The chain added approximately 100 new locations in the last quarter, bringing its total number of stores to an estimated 3,250.
