Interpublic Wednesday unveiled details of the merger of its Draft and FCB units. The new division, dubbed the Draft FCB Group, will strive to fuse the measurable accountability of Draft's direct
response services with the brand building skills of FCB's image advertising resources. Draft chief Howard Draft has been named chairman-CEO of the joint operations, while FCB chief Steve Blamer will
leave Interpublic following a transition period. FCB's Jonathan Harries has been named worldwide chief creative officer for the new company.
