Radar magazine, in the midst of a bid to make an unprecedented third comeback, has hired a publisher to sell ads. Katherine Rizzuto, the current executive beauty director of
Vogue, will
be the publisher of the magazine that is slated to return to newsstands in spring 2007. She was publisher of Hearst's
Marie Claire from 2000 to 2004. Although
Radar's return is still
eight months away, hiring someone for the fall selling season is deemed crucial. Many advertisers set their ad-spending budgets for the next year in the fall.
