TBS Does iTunes Deal

iTunes may be singing all the way to the bank. TBS has joined a number of other TV companies in making iTunes Music Store business deals. Programming from CNN, Adult Swim and Cartoon Network will now be available for a download fee of $1.99.

This includes Cartoon Network's "Johnny Bravo," Adult Swim's "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," "The Venture Bros.," and "Sealab 202." Also available will be original CNN episodes of "CNN Presents," which include special reports "Taming the Beast: Inside the War on Cancer," "The Fight Over Faith," and "Captured: Inside the Army's Secret School."

CNN is also offering free original podcasts of "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer" and "Reliable Sources" to iTunes users for one month. For the last three months, Adult Swim has been offering free video podcasts via iTunes, which Turner says ranks it among the most popular television podcasts on the service.

Since last September, iTunes has made deals for 150 TV shows. That's when Walt Disney Co. made the first TV show with iTunes for programs such as "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost."
