Warner Bros.'s TV group has expanded Michael Teicher's role to include sales oversight for its shows offered via broadband and mobile devices.
As executive vice president, media sales, Warner
Bros. Television Group, Teicher now heads sales for domestic television distribution--both broadcast and cable--as well as current and future multi-platform offerings. The position includes creating
new ad models to fit the emerging platforms, as well as accelerating cross-platform sales. "By aligning the new media and traditional media ad sales for our television content, we're able to offer
clients a one-stop, multiplatform, completely comprehensive approach to their ad buying," says Bruce Rosenblum, president of Warner Bros. Television Group. Teicher will work with Rich Rosenthal, the
group's head of newly formed Studio 2.0, aimed at creating content for new platforms. Teicher had been evp-media sales for domestic television distribution since 2002.
