NBCU Appoints Kerin VP Ad Sales

NBC Universal's syndication arm, which sells time for shows such as "Access Hollywood" and "Maury," has tapped Donna Kerin as vice president, ad and media sales.

Kerin joins from NBC, where she was an account executive in late night and daytime sales.

Her new responsibilities at the net's domestic TV distribution unit include national sales for NBCU's first-run syndicated shows, ranging from the tabloid "Access Hollywood" to the provocative "The Jerry Springer Show" to the hard-hitting news analysis "The Chris Matthews Show."

"Donna brings a wealth of experience, as well as strong contacts both within NBC and outside the company," says Barbara Argentino, senior vice president, ad and media sales. Kerin will report to Argentino. Kerin has held previous positions at Pax and Grey Advertising, and began her career in sales at ESPN.
