A Hole In One For ... Iowa?

Now that Zach Johnson has won the Masters, he is sure to be signed by multinational corporations looking to leverage his wholesomeness. But Johnson is from Iowa, and it is difficult to imagine an image of this clean-cut man from what is arguably one of the state's tamest cities hawking products that want to be seen as hip and cutting-edge.

But there are plenty of entities in the Hawkeye State that could use this champion's support. Herewith, a Top 10 list:

1. Iowa pork chop: Cut 1¼-inch thick with a piece of loin attached

2. Iowa State Fair: One of the largest in the country, where one can watch pie-judging contests and eat a pork chop on a stick in the same day

3. Little Brown Church in the Vale: Only 400 weddings are performed there each year; they could squeeze in a few more.

4. Hy-Vee: Where University of Iowa football games are piped through the speakers in autumn.

5. Field of Dreams: Home of the baseball field made famous by the movie of the same name.

6. No-Wa-Wa Beach: 3 million pounds of sand is trucked in. What they lack in water, they make up in beach.

7. "American Gothic" House: Background of native Grant Wood's painting.

8. Herbert Hoover President Library and Museum: Hey, he standardized the light bulb.

9. RAGBRAI: A bike "ride" from the Missouri to the Mississippi, some 450 miles long.

10. Corn: and lots of it.
