American Media's Active Lifestyle Group has tapped Deb Mignucci as publisher of Fit Pregnancy. Mignucci arrives from BabyCenter.com/ParentCenter.com, where she was vice president, advertising sales.
"Deb has 20 years of experience in advertising sales targeting women, the majority in the parenting field," said American Media executive vice president/publishing director Carolyn Bekkedahl in a
press release. "Her experience will help us capitalize on the incredible growth occurring in the parenting and active lifestyle categories, at a time when they are two of the biggest selling markets
in the magazine industry."
Fit Pregnancy debuted design and editorial changes in its February/March issue, including an expanded "Healthy Baby" section that focuses on post-natal issues. The mag
grew its ad pages by 29.8 percent in 2003.
