Darien, Conn.-based Jupitermedia Corp. next year will begin Internet Planet, which Jupitermedia said would focus on the online business-to-business sector. Alan M. Meckler, chairman and chief executive officer of Jupitermedia, said beyond search, the other driver of the Internet is how to grow business online.

Internet Planet seeks to do this "by serving as the meeting place where CEOs, COOs, CMOs and their teams of marketers, developers, designers and Web executives come together to exchange ideas, discuss strategies and evaluate solutions from the thousands of organizations that provide services related to all aspects of Web site operations and doing business online," Meckler said.

Jupitermedia plans two conferences, one June 14-16 at the Hilton New York in New York City, and the other Nov. 15-17 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.
