Moments before MySpace marketing and content chief Shawn Gold was poised to take the stage at the opening panel discussion at the OMMA New York conference, MySpace announced plans
to take the wildly popular online social network mobile. The new, ad-supported mobile sites will be available free to MySpace users, courtesy of Fox Interactive Media and mobile ad network Millennial
Media. Fox said a limited number of charter sponsorships will be offered within MySpace's new mobile site over the next several months and that it would open all advertising inventory by the end of
the year.
