ABC slightly increased its lead this week over CBS on Thursday.

The main difference came from "Grey's Anatomy," which improved to a 7.9 rating/19 share from a 7.6 rating/19 share the week before. CBS's "CSI" slipped a little to a 6.1/15 from a 6.4/16 the week before. All numbers are Nielsen live-plus-same-day program data.

ABC moved to a 5.1/14 for the night--up two-tenths of a rating point. CBS dropped one-tenth of a rating point to a 4.8/13. NBC also lost one-tenth of a rating point to a 3.8/10. Fox and CW remained the same versus a week ago--a 2.1/5 and a 1.5/4, respectively.

The tightest race of the night is at 10 p.m., where the networks are in a virtual tie for all three of their dramas. This week, "Big Shots" and "Without a Trace" tied with a 3.6/10. "ER" was at virtually the same numbers, at a 3.5/10. A week before it was "ER" and "Trace" tying with a 3.7/10; "Shots" had a 3.6/10.

Two of NBC's comedies lost ground--with the biggest drop coming from "30 Rock," which declined to a 3.0/8 from a 3.4/9 the week before. Last week, the show had a special episode featuring Jerry Seinfeld. "My Name is Earl" dipped lower, to a 3.1/9 from a 3.3/10 the week before. NBC's 9 p.m. show, "The Office," moved up slightly to a 4.7/11 from a 4.6/11.

MyNetworkTV witnessed a slight uptick to a 0.4 rating/0.9 share, from a 0.3/0.8 the week before. The difference was a better-viewed "Revenge of the Nerds II" versus "The Ladykillers."
