General Mills will issue a special-edition commemorative package honoring the 2007 MLB World Series Champion Boston Red Sox following their victory over the Colorado Rockies in the World Series.

The 15.6-ounce Red Sox Wheaties box will be available nationally beginning in the next few weeks. The package features Red Sox All-Star pitcher and American League Championship Series MVP Josh Beckett on the front panel and an image of Fenway Park and Beckett on the back.

"This package marks the first Wheaties box appearance for Beckett," said General Mills. Among other Red Sox to appear on the Wheaties box are Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Ted Williams, Lefty Grove, Joe Cronin and Jimmie Foxx.
