Target Sets Up Model-Free Fashion Show

  • November 2, 2007
Target will run something of a fashion show Tuesday and Wednesday in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. According to the department-store chain, it will be the world's first "virtual" fashion show. What this means is that instead of flesh-and-blood models (sorry, guys), Target will use holograms of cloths moving down a virtual runway as if they were adorning invisible models.

The Target Model-less Fashion Show will feature men's, women's, bridal and maternity collections from Bowie by Keanan Duffty, Erin Fetherston, Isaac Mizrahi, and others, as well as jewelry, handbags and other accessories.
